Apply to
participate in an interactive workshop for an upcoming grant opportunity on
enhancing community resilience
To
help spark innovative ideas and approaches for an upcoming grant opportunity,
the Gulf Research Program will be hosting an interactive, in-person workshop to
connect potential applicants, encourage collaboration, and cultivate new
ideas.
The three-day Networking and Idea
Development Workshop: Thriving Communities Grants 5 will be held May
30 through June 1 in Mobile, Alabama, with travel, accommodations, and meals
paid for by the Gulf Research Program.
The grant
opportunity, expected to open in July, is aimed at conducting
research and developing actionable strategies to enhance the resilience and
well-being of communities in the Gulf of Mexico region affected by stressors
like climate change, severe weather, or environmental degradation. Participation
in the workshop will not be required to apply to the grant opportunity.
