Description
Founded
in 1975, ASPEN Rhoads Research Foundation, the philanthropic arm of the
American Society for Parenteral and Enteral Nutrition, funds exceptional
scientific research projects on clinical nutrition and metabolic support.
To
help advance this mission, the foundation is inviting applications for its
ASPEN Rhoads Research Foundation Grants program. Through the program, grants of
up to $25,000 will be awarded in support of research
projects by early-career investigators with the potential to advance the
science and practice of clinical nutrition and metabolism. Project goals should
be in alignment with the priorities outlined in the ASPEN Research
Agenda.
To
be eligible, applicants must be within ten years of completing a terminal
research degree or medical residency (or the equivalent); be at or below the
rank of assistant professor; and commit at least 20 percent of their time to
research in a professional institute that conducts nutrition
research.
