(FOA)-Limited Submission – American Honda Foundation – Grants Program; December 18, 2018  

 

Purpose: The American Honda Foundation supports youth education with a specific focus on the STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) subjects in addition to the environment, job training and literacy. The Foundation defines "youth" as pre-natal through 21 years of age. "Scientific education" encompasses both the physical and life sciences, mathematics and the environmental sciences. Proposals should be broad in scope, intent, impact and outreach; innovative and creative; propose untried methods; and possess a high potential for success with a relatively low incidence of duplication.

 

Funding Amount/ Project Period: $20,000- $75,000 for one year

 

Institutional Limit: 1.Organizations may only submit one request in a 12-month period.

Internal Competition: To participate in the university’s selection process,please upload the following,assembled into a single PDF file, to the Office of the Vice President for Research via this portal with a copy to your Associate Dean for Research by December 18, 2018:          

• Names and departments or affiliations of the Project Director and other key personnel or partners;
• Title of program and/or funding opportunity announcement number;
• Brief project description (2 pages maximum)
