Award-Thomas P. Cooper Research Award Reminder; deadline Feb. 2, 2009

2009 THOMAS POE COOPER RESEARCH AWARD

This is to invite nominations for the 2009 Thomas Poe Cooper Research Award.

Established by the will of Dean Cooper, the award is presented in recognition of

outstanding research achievement by a member of the College of Agriculture faculty.

Designed to recognize and encourage research excellence, the Thomas Poe Cooper

Research Award is the college’s premier award for distinguished scientific

accomplishment.

Please submit three copies of the following:

• A cover letter, not to exceed three pages, justifying the nomination.

• A current curriculum vita of the nominee, 20-page maximum. Exclude lists of

abstracts and less important material.

• Up to three supporting letters from scientists in or outside the College of

Agriculture.

Nominations may be prepared by any college faculty member, but must be endorsed by

the chair and are limited to one per department.

Deadline: February 2, 2009
