Important notes:
Each Principal Investigator may only submit one Office of Science
Early Career Research Program application per annual competition. Additionally,
a Principal Investigator may not participate in more than three Office of
Science Early Career Research Program competitions.
If an investigator is a current recipient of one of the following
awards and is selected for an award under this FOA, the institution must forgo
any remaining years of funding for the current award when the new award begins.
The previous awards covered by this condition are (1) Office of Advanced
Scientific Computing Research Early Career Principal Investigator Program;
(2) Office of Fusion Energy Sciences Plasma Physics Junior Faculty
Award Program; (3) Office of High Energy Physics Outstanding Junior
Investigator Program; (4) Office of Nuclear Physics Outstanding Junior
Investigator Program; and (5) DOE Presidential Early Career Award for
Scientists and Engineers (PECASE).
