Opportunity Announcement (FOA) DE-FOA-0002399, Water Management for Thermal
Power Generation, focuses on supporting projects that facilitate the design,
construction, and operation of engineering-scale prototypes of water treatment
technologies related to the existing and future fleet of thermoelectric power
plants. This
FOA scope includes coal, gas, and hydrogen-based thermal power generation
applications. It also includes treating brines associated with carbon capture
and storage. Both existing fleet retrofit and greenfield applications are desired.
