Description

This co-operative agreement will support projects that enable critical public health collaborations between FDA, industry, and the public including, but not limited to, the use of real-world data and real-world evidence and food safety and nutrition education campaigns. The grantee may assist in identifying public and private funding and supporting projects and programs that promote the use of the highest caliber science and technology to enhance the safety and effectiveness of FDA regulated products. The grantee will not participate in regulatory decision-making or offer advice to FDA on policy matters.

Applicants should be organized to identify and address unmet regulatory science needs, and facilitate the continued development and dissemination of new technologies, research and programs aimed at improving the field of knowledge around FDA-regulated products and related public health goals.
