Description

 

The US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) announced the Implementation of State Coordination in Support of the Federal Facility Hazardous Waste Cleanup Program (EPA-OLEM-FFRRO-18-02). This request for proposals (RFP) solicits proposals from eligible entities to promote and stimulate research for use by state environmental officials to address Federal Facility Hazardous Waste Cleanup Program policy and implementation issues of importance to states. The project will provide support for state participation in developing tools, procedures and guidance to promote efficient cleanup work by states under CERCLA Section 120.  The Federal Facilities Restoration and Reuse Office (FFRRO) works with federal entities and states to ensure protective and efficient cleanup and reuse of federally-owned Superfund sites as mandated by Congress. EPA’s FFRRO is soliciting proposals for research projects and training in research techniques related to various aspects of the Federal Facility Cleanup Program which facilitate the information exchange and coordination among state agencies responsible for the cleanup of contaminated federal facilities.   A minimum 5% cost match is required.
