Description
The
US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) announced the Implementation of State
Coordination in Support of the Federal Facility Hazardous Waste Cleanup Program
(EPA-OLEM-FFRRO-18-02). This request for proposals (RFP) solicits proposals
from eligible entities to promote and stimulate research for use by state
environmental officials to address Federal Facility Hazardous Waste Cleanup
Program policy and implementation issues of importance to states. The project
will provide support for state participation in developing tools, procedures
and guidance to promote efficient cleanup work by states under CERCLA Section
120. The Federal Facilities Restoration and Reuse Office (FFRRO) works
with federal entities and states to ensure protective and efficient cleanup and
reuse of federally-owned Superfund sites as mandated by Congress. EPA’s FFRRO
is soliciting proposals for research projects and training in research
techniques related to various aspects of the Federal Facility Cleanup Program
which facilitate the information exchange and coordination among state agencies
responsible for the cleanup of contaminated federal facilities. A
