Description

 

The American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine Foundation provides funds to support investigations that have direct application to improving the diagnosis, treatment, understanding, and/or prevention of disease in animals.

To that end, the foundation has issued a Request for Proposals for research projects in the areas of feline chronic renal disease and feline cardiac disease. Two seed grants of up to $10,000 will be awarded to support smaller research projects and/or allow for the generation of preliminary data needed for larger-scale studies. Studies are to be completed within a year of initiation.

To be eligible, applicants must be an ACVIM member in good standing at the time of application and throughout the duration of the project.
