Description

Intimate partner violence is a significant health and social problem among lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgendered, questioning and two-spirited communities and has serious physical health, mental health, and social consequences for its victims, their families, communities, and society-at-large. However, victims of intimate partner violence continue to face barriers when seeking trauma informed and culturally competent services to prevent and address such abuse.
