Funding-Limited Submission – Aetna Foundation – Cultivating Healthy Communities; March 29, 2016

 

Purpose: Through this program, the Aetna Foundation seeks to support communities’ efforts to become healthier places to live, work, learn, play and pray. The Cultivating Healthy Communities program will support programs that benefit underserved, low-income communities. The foundation seeks grantees committed to improving results in up to two of the five domains shown below:

 

Funding Amount/ Project Period: $50,000 or $100,000 over 18 to 24 months.

Internal Competition: To participate in the University’s selection process, researchers are to submit the following material electronically, assembled into a single PDF document, to the Office of the Vice President for Research at limitedsubmissions@uky.edu and a copy to their Associate Dean for Research by Tuesday, March 29, 2016:

 

The Vice President for Research will appoint a committee to review the material and make a recommendation as to the University’s applicant. Foundation Deadline: Stage 1 applications- April 15, 2016.  Applicants whose Stage 1 applications pass through the initial review will be invited to submit a Stage 2 application, which will be due June 10.
