Submission – ArtPlace - National Creative Placemaking

Purpose:
ArtPlace
America is now accepting applications for its $10.5 million National
Creative Placemaking competition to fund
community development projects that involve the arts. The competition will fund
projects featuring collaborations between artists, arts organizations, and a
community or neighborhood. These collaborations must address a community
challenge related to agriculture/food; economic development; education/youth;
environment/energy; health; public safety; transportation; or workforce
development.

To participate in the University’s selection process, researchers are to submit the following material
electronically, assembled into a single PDF document, to the Office of the Vice
President for Research at limitedsubmissions@uky.edu and a copy to their Associate Dean for
Research by Tuesday, February 2, 2016:
The
Vice President for Research will appoint a committee to review the material and
make a recommendation as to the University’s applicants. Questions about the
submission process may be sent to Ms. Annette Evans in the Office of the Vice
President for Research (alevan4@email.uky.edu or 257-1663).
