Funding-Limited Submission – Blue Grass Community Foundation – Community Grants; July 17, 2013

Description: Community Grants will be awarded in amounts up to $5,000 and are for 501(c)3 agencies serving Anderson, Bourbon, Fayette, Franklin, Harrison, Jessamine, Madison, Montgomery, Scott and Woodford Counties. This year’s grantmaking area of focus is family literacy and early childhood education.

Institutional Limit: one request per agency

Internal Competition: Because the Foundation only allows applicants to submit one proposal for this opportunity, the University of Kentucky has established an internal selection process. Individuals interested in submitting to this program are to submit the following material electronically to the Office of the Vice President for Research at limitedsubmissions@uky.edu and a copy to their Associate Dean for Research by Wednesday, July 17, 2013:

• Names and departments of project director(s), key personnel and any partners

· Title of program and/or funding opportunity announcement number

• Project overview – include objectives and a brief description of activities (1-2 pages max.)
