Submission - Christopher and Dana Reeve Foundation - Quality of Life Grants; September 2, 2014
Description:
Quality
of Life grants (up to $25,000) are awarded to programs or projects that improve
the daily lives of people with paralysis, with some emphasis on but not limited
to paralysis caused by spinal caused by spinal cord injuries. Funding is
awarded twice yearly to nonprofit organizations that provide critical life-enhancing
and life-changing programs and services that improve physical and emotional
health. Funded projects offer a diversity of services and approaches: improving
access; providing education and job training; sponsoring organized sporting
opportunities; and more to individuals living with paralysis and their
communities.
Limited
Submission: Only
one request per cycle should be submitted for an organization.
Internal
Competition: Because
the Christopher & Dana Reeve Foundation limits the number of proposals that
can be submitted, individuals interested in submitting an application should
send the following information to the Office of the Vice President for Research
at limitedsubmissions@uky.edu
and a copy to their Associate Dean for Research by Tuesday, June 24, 2014:

Investigator name and department and any partners or collaborators;

Title of the program (Christopher and
Dana Reeve Foundation – Quality of Life Grants)
·
Brief
project description including goals and activities (maximum 1-2 pages).
A
committee will be appointed to review the material and make
