Funding-Request for Research Proposals - Corn Marketing Program of Michigan; November 4, 2011

The Corn Marketing Program of Michigan (CMPM) is announcing their call for research proposals for 2011-12. The CMPM has a detailed strategic plan that outlines their focus on the increased economic viability of corn production in Michigan through innovative research and market development.

I have attached 2011-12 request for proposals, which contains all research proposal guidelines and instructions.  Please note that we are going electronic and have changed our submission process.  We are now requesting proposals electronically with electronic verification your proposal was received.

CMPM has seen a reduction in funding for 2011-12, so it will be more important than ever for your proposals to be concise and to the point to show the importance of your work in the industry.

All preliminary proposals are due by noon on Friday, Nov. 4, 2011.  Please keep in mind that the proposals should be no more than six pages in length, including the cover page and budget.  If you have any questions contact Nikki Beattie by phone at (517) 668-2676, or by e-mail at nbeattie@micorn.org.  Thank you for your interest in the corn industry!

Sincerely,

Nikki L. Beattie
