Funding-Consortium for Plant Biotechnology Research; December 1, 2009

The Consortium for Plant Biotechnology Research, Inc. (“CPBR”), is now issuing the Request for Preproposals for its 2011 competitions. (The 2010 competitions are still in process.)

CPBR now requires electronic submission of preproposals. Microsoft Word or PDF files will be accepted via email or on diskette. Please compress all images prior to submitting. For assistance, go to http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/help/HP030740421033.aspx.  We attach a Microsoft Word file of the Preproposal Cover Sheet for your convenience.

* Preproposals must be received at CPBR no later than December 1, 2009.

* Please email notice of your intention to submit a preproposal to cpittman@cpbr.org prior to November 13, 2009.

* Each preproposal must be presented at the CPBR Symposium on February 9-10, 2010, in Washington, DC.  Additional Symposium information will be distributed soon.

* Full proposals will be due June 18, 2010.

* Industry matching commitments will not be due until September 30, 2010.
