Funding-Limited Submission – USDA – Children, Youth and Families at Risk Sustainable Communities Projects – CYFAR SCP (USDA-NIFA-SLBCD-006244); March 29, 2017

 

Purpose: The purpose of Children, Youth and Families at Risk (CYFAR) Sustainable Communities Projects funding is to improve the quality and quantity of comprehensive community-based programs for at-risk children, youth, and families supported by the Cooperative Extension System. Collaboration across disciplines, program areas, and geographic lines, as well a holistic approach that views the individual in the context of the family and community, are central to Sustainable Community Projects.

 

Funding Amount: up to $80,000 per year for five years for a single institutional applicant ($160,000 per year for a joint institutional applicant.)

Note: Current CYFAR SCP grantees may submit an application for an additional new project; however, if the same community site is being used, a justification must be provided. UK currently holds two CYFAR awards.
