Description

 

DARPA is soliciting research proposals to develop advanced nucleic acid and protein tests, automate analysis of fresh and/or stored biospecimens in clinical settings integrated into highly multiplexed platforms that are rapidly reconfigurable for emerging needs. DARPA envisions that the interdisciplinary DxOD-PoC effort will develop and demonstrate the following: 1) improved biospecimen collection and stabilization methods; 2) automated sample preparation techniques from fresh and/or stored biospecimens; 3) new high performance assays, molecular recognition elements, and transduction methods; and, 4) development of highly multiplexed diagnostic platforms that are amenable to reconfiguration for additional applications.
