Purpose: The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency
(EPA) is soliciting proposal for projects that will advance EPA’s water quality
and environmental justice goals.
Proposed projects will address urban runoff pollution through diverse
partnerships that produce multiple community benefits, with emphasis on
underserved communities. Proposed
project activities must take place entirely within one of the Eligible Geographic Areas
and must focus on one of the
following project types:
1.
Community
Greening and Green Infrastructure
2.
Communities
and Water Quality Data
Cost Share: EPA expects each award to range from
approximately $40,000 to no more than $60,000 in EPA funding. A minimum non-federal cost share/match of
$4,000 is required.

a single PDO file, to the Office of the Vice President for Research at limitedsubmissions@uky.edu
and a copy to their Associate Dean for Research by Tuesday, October 20, 2015:

budget, including the potential sources of funding for the required cost
share. Note: Because of ongoing commitments, the Office of
the Vice President for Research is unable to provide matching funds.
A
committee will be appointed to review the information and make recommendations
as to the University’s submission.
