Funding-Experimental Program to Stimulate Competitive Research (DOE EPSCoR) Implementation Grants; June 1, 2011

There is a new DOE EPSCoR FOA for which KY DOE-EPSCoR can compete. The award will be between $1 to $2.5 million (total) for a three year period. Only one submission will be made from Kentucky. Interested teams should submit letters of intent to the KY DOE-EPSCoR office, which will review them and select one to be submitted to DOE. The winning team will develop a full proposal, due in Washington, DC on 23 June 2011.  The schedule will be:

	6 June 2011. DOE-EPSCoR office will select one letter of intent to submit to DOE	Winning team will have < 24 hours to edit the letter.
	7 June 2011. DOE-EPSCoR office will submit the LOI to DOE.	Winning team begins budget + proposal process.
Full proposal	19 June 2011. Submit to DOE-EPSCoR office	DOE-EPSCoR + UKRF starts electronic proposal submission.
	23 June 2011.  UKRF submits full proposal to DOE

 

 The FOA and the DOE strategic plan are attached to this email for your convenience. Please pay particular attention to criteria on pp. 6-9 of the FOA, as these will weigh heavily in our internal selection process.
