Funding-RFA Announced for Food Aid Nutrition Enhancement Program; April 15, 2010

The National Institute of Food and Agriculture (NIFA) has just announced an RFA for a new funding opportunity, the Food Aid Nutrition Enhancement Program (FANEP).   The objective of this program is to improve the nutritional content, product composition, packaging and other components of food products delivered through humanitarian assistance programs.   Institutions interested in applying to this program must submit a Letter of Intent by April 15, 2010 (the full applications will be due May 13, 2010).  For more information on the application process, eligibility requirements, funding levels, etc., please visit our website at
