Funding-Limited Submission – HRSA – Rural Health System Analysis and Technical Assistance Cooperative Agreement  (HRSA-12-176); May 4, 2012

 

Description: This announcement solicits applications for the Rural Health System Analysis and Technical Assistance (RHSATA) Cooperative Agreement. The purpose of the RHSATA Cooperative Agreement Program is to inform policy makers and rural health care providers about how changes in the health care delivery system may affect them, and to provide technical assistance to rural providers in identifying potential new approaches to health care delivery in their communities.

 

Amount: Approximately $600,000 is expected to be available annually to fund one (1) awardee. Applicants may apply for an amount up to $600,000 per year. The project period is three (3) years.

Institutional Limit: Multiple applications from an organization are not allowable.

Internal Competition:  Because HRSA limits the number of proposals to one application per organization, the University of Kentucky has established an internal selection process.  Prospective applicants interested in responding to this program should send a pre-proposal with the following information to the Office of the Vice President for Research at vpr@email.uky.edu and a copy to their Associate Dean for Research by Friday, May 4, 2012:

  1. Names and departments of the Project Director, project personnel and key collaborators  or partners

2.     Brief abstract of project to include the objectives, activities, and work plan (1-2 p. max)
