Funding-Appalachian Pilot Projects; No date attached

The Office of the Vice President for Research has been informed that $30 million is available for pilot projects in Appalachian counties that have the potential to create long-term economic benefits.  Congressman Rogers secured the federal funds and Kentucky’s Division of Abandoned Mine Lands is administering the funds.
