Funding-Limited Submission - NSF Science and Technology Centers: Integrative Partnerships (NSF 14-600);
December 11, 2014
The
Science and Technology Centers (STC): Integrative Partnerships program supports
innovative, potentially transformative, complex research and education projects
that require large-scale, long-term awards. STCs conduct world-class research
through partnerships among academic institutions, national laboratories,
industrial organizations, and/or other public/private entities, and via international
collaborations, as appropriate. They provide a means to undertake significant
investigations at the interfaces of disciplines and/or fresh approaches within
disciplines. STCs may involve any area of science and engineering that NSF
supports.
Objectives
of the STC Program are to:
Limit
on Number of Preliminary Proposals per Organization: 3
A single organization may submit a maximum of three
preliminary proposals as the lead institution. Full proposals are to be submitted
only when invited by NSF. There is no limit on the number of proposals in which
an organization participates as a partner institution. The STC program will not
support more than one Center from any one lead institution in this competition.

solicitation for additional details and requirements: http://www.nsf.gov/pubs/2014/nsf14600/nsf14600.htm?WT.mc_id=USNSF_25&WT.mc_ev=click
