Funding-Video & PowerPoint archive of recent grantsmanship program on systems based projects; December 15, 2010

NIFA’s Organic Agriculture Research and Extension Initiative (OREI), Specialty Crop Research Initiative (SCRI), and Sustainable Agriculture Research and Extension (SARE) programs recently partnered with Cornell University to host a one-day program on how to design successful system based projects.

Planning and Managing Systems Based Trans-disciplinary Projects for USDA/NIFA Programs was held Dec. 10 in Ithaca, New York, and simultaneously shared as a webcast. Nearly 800 participants registered for the program. Over 100 participants were on-site and the rest accessed the session through the web.

Cornell has archived both the video presentations with the PowerPoints, and the PowerPoints by themselves.

NPLs Tom Bewick, Rob Hedberg, Mary Peet, and Dan Schmoldt; along with Jill Auburn, were some of the presenters.
