Large Systems Research Grants; November 1, 2011
GRIFFIN, Georgia – The Southern Sustainable Agriculture Research and
Education (SARE) program invites researchers who have established long-term research
programs currently underway throughout the Southern region to apply for the
2012 Large Systems Research Grants.
Calls for Proposals are now open.
Submission deadline is 11:59 p.m., Eastern Standard Time, on Nov. 1, 2011.
Large Systems Research Grants are
strictly intended for systems research teams who have successful ongoing
long-term systems research programs, but need support to accomplish more
long-term research goals. Project maximum is $100,000 per year for three
years with the opportunity for additional three-year renewals. Proposals that
are not submitted by established large systems programs will not be funded or
reviewed.

to download the current Calls for Proposal. The Calls for Proposal includes
grant objectives, submission guidelines, and the review process. Be sure to
carefully follow the information in the Calls for Proposals when submitting
your grant. Failure to follow submission guidelines may result in your proposal
being rejected.
SARE is a competitive grants
program funded by the U.S. Department of Agriculture to promote research and
education about sustainable agriculture. Southern SARE is administered by a
host consortium consisting of the University of Georgia, Fort Valley State
University and the Kerr Center for Sustainable Agriculture in Oklahoma.
