Funding-Limited
Submission – NIH Office of Research Infrastructure Programs – Shared
Instrumentation for Animal Research (S10) - PAR-17-075 -- NO INTERNAL
COMPETITION; May 31, 2017
Purpose:
The
Shared Instrumentation for Animal Research (SIFAR) Grant Program encourages
applications from groups of NIH-funded investigators to purchase or upgrade
scientific instruments necessary to carry out animal experiments in all areas
of biomedical research supported by the NIH.
NIH has provided new
clarification that only one application per institution may
be submitted for the SIFAR S10 program. However, applicant
institutions may submit more than one application for the two companion S10
funding opportunities, the High-End Instrumentation (HEI) Grant Program
(PAR-17-076) and the Shared Instrumentation Grant (SIG) Program (PAR-17-074).
The
UK Vice President for Research received only one application for the SIFAR
program by the March 1st deadline requested for internal expressions
of interest in S10 applications. Thus, no internal competition will be held for a SIFAR submission.
