Kentucky’s Sustainability Challenge Grant Program; October 16, 2016
We
are pleased to announce the third year of the University of Kentucky’s
Sustainability Challenge Grant Program. $200,000 will be available for the 2016
Sustainability Challenge Grant Program thanks to the generous support of the
Executive Vice President for Finance & Administration, the Provost, the
Student Sustainability Council, and the Vice President for Research.
The
Sustainability Challenge Grant program is designed to engage multidisciplinary
teams from the University community in the creation and implementation of ideas
that will promote sustainability by simultaneously advancing economic vitality,
ecological integrity and social equity.
The
call for proposals is now open and the deadline to apply is October 16, 2016.

The Sustainability Challenge
Grant Program was developed as a collaborative effort of the President’s
Sustainability Advisory Committee, The Tracy Farmer Institute for
Sustainability and the Environment and the Office of Sustainability.
Funding for the Challenge Grant Program provided by the Executive
Vice President for Finance and Administration, the Vice President for Research
and the Student Sustainability Council.
