Funding-University
of Kentucky Sustainability Challenge Grant Program; October 16, 2015
This program is designed to engage multidisciplinary
teams from the University community in the creation and implementation of ideas
that will simultaneously advance economic vitality, ecological integrity and
social equity, now and into the future.
The selection process will prioritize projects that engage students and
demonstrate the potential to produce results that will catalyze operational,
academic and cultural change on our campus. A total of $200,000 is available
this year, through funds provided by the Executive Vice President for Finance
and Administration, the Student Sustainability Council, the Provost, and the
Vice President for Research. The program is jointly coordinated by the Tracy
Farmer Institute for Sustainability & the Environment, UK Office of
Sustainability and the President’s Sustainability Advisory Committee.
