Purpose:
The
purpose of this funding opportunity is to develop and evaluate a clinic-based
intervention addressing access to, motivation for, and adherence to dual
protection strategies that concurrently protect against unintended pregnancies
and sexually transmitted diseases (STDs), including human immunodeficiency
virus (HIV) among high risk 15-19 year old females.

one application per institution (normally identified by having a unique DUNS
number) is allowed.

Competition: Because
CDC limits an institution to one submission, the University of Kentucky has
established an internal selection process. Researchers interested in applying
are to submit the following material electronically to the Office of the
Vice President for Research at vpr@email.uky.edu
and a copy to their Associate Dean for Research by Monday, February 13, 2012:

committee will be convened to review the material and make recommendations as
