General-NSF Presentation and Networking Reception; September 25, 2012

 

The National Science Foundation has funding opportunities applicable to a broad spectrum of disciplines.  Attend a presentation by Dr. Martha Peterson, UK Professor in the College of Medicine, currently serving as NSF Program Director of the Genetic Mechanisms Cluster, Division of Molecular and Cellular Bioscience.  Her session will cover the types of programs and areas supported, the review process, funding trends, new programs on the horizon, and elements of competitive proposals.  A networking reception following the presentation provides the opportunity to interact with Dr. Peterson and other UK faculty with NSF experience.  See the attached flyer for additional information.
