General Interest-Name Change: CSREES email and Internet change to NIFA; January 1, 2009

 

 

What is changing?

CSREES’ email and Internet site names will change to reflect the Agency’s new name, NIFA.

 

When will the change be made?

September 30, 2009, 12:00 AM

 

What is the impact of this change on you?

The new Internet site URL will be http://www.nifa.usda.gov/, however you will still be able to use the old Internet site URL

Your email will change to mailto:your%20email%20id@nifa.usda.gov, however you will still be able to receive email at your old email address.

 

Action required by customer?

The change will be made with no action on your part.

You will want to inform all of your stakeholders outside of CSREES of the changes.

 

Why is this change being made?

CSREES’ name changes to National Institute of Food and Agriculture (NIFA) as required in the Food, Conservation, and Energy Act of 2008, also known as the 2008 U.S. Farm Bill.
