FUNDING-Limited Submission – HRSA – Rural Quality Improvement Technical Assistance Cooperative Agreement; March 6, 2018

 

Purpose: The purpose of this Health Resources and Services Administration’s (HRSA) cooperative agreement, Rural Quality Improvement Technical Assistance Cooperative Agreement, is to improve quality and health outcomes in rural communities through technical assistance to beneficiaries of the Federal Office of Rural Health Policy (FORHP) quality initiatives such as award recipients, Critical Access Hospitals (CAHs), and other rural providers. Assistance will be provided in data collection and analysis, understanding measure specifications, benchmarking, target-setting, and health information technology. It will also include developing, implementing, and adapting efficient and effective improvement strategies for a rural audience and tracking the outcomes of quality improvement efforts.

 

Note: The FY2018 President’s Budget does not request funding for this program. This notice is a contingency action to ensure that should funds become available, HRSA can process application and award funds.

 

Funding Amount/ Project Period: $500,000 per year for five years
