Information- Sloane Ritchey joins CAFE

The CAFE Research Office and UK Research and Education Center at Princeton are pleased to announce that Dr. Sloane Ritchey has joined our staff as a Sponsored Program Specialist. Sloane comes to us from the Office of Sponsored Projects Administration where many of you worked with her in her role as a Research Administrator.  In her new position she is expected to play a major role in helping manage the $15 million Grain and Forage Center of Excellence grant from the Kentucky Agricultural Development Fund. In addition, she will work in collaboration with the College Grants Officers to facilitate new proposal submissions by faculty at UKREC as well as select high-priority grant applications across the College.  She will serve as a resource for resolving grant-related administrative issues requiring assistance from the Research Office (e.g., stalled contracts, capital equipment justifications, etc.). Lastly, she will also assist the Research Office with grant funding reports and research accountability.  Sloane will remain located at the UKREC in Princeton and can be reached at sloane.ritchey@uky.edu or 7-9503 x247.
