Description
The
Kentucky Water Resources Research Institute (KWRRI) is requesting proposals for
its 2019-2020 104b program. This program, funded through the U.S. Geological
Survey (USGS), will be targeted toward supporting water-related research
efforts conducted by students at universities in Kentucky. This program
supports competent applied and peer reviewed research that fosters: a.
improvements in water supply reliability; b. the exploration of new ideas that
address water problems and/or expand understanding of water and water-related
phenomena; c. the entry of new research scientists into water resources fields;
and d. the dissemination of research results to water managers and the public.
Proposals will be evaluated based on these research priorities as well as
research priorities specific to Kentucky and available in the full request for
proposals.
