Announcement-Kentucky Network for Innovation and Commercialization (KYNETIC) Town Hall; January 24, 2020

 

Faculty, staff, trainees, and students are invited to attend a town hall to become more familiar with the KYNETIC grant program and ask questions about the application process. This is not a traditional grant program, and the goal is to accelerate the translation of innovations into commercial products that will benefit human health.

Do you have an idea for a product that could improve patient care or enhance human health?  KYNETIC offers proof-of-concept and product development grants for all types of health-related ideas.  Cycle 1 grants are for up to $50,000 per project to be used over 6 months. Projects are eligible for competitive renewal every 6 months, until a maximum of $200,000 per technology is reached.  In addition, product development, commercialization and entrepreneurship training is offered to all selected applicants.  Faculty, staff, trainees and students are eligible to apply.
