Informatics
- The
goal of the Informatics Post Doctoral Fellowships
program is to promote development and use of novel informatics in an integrative
approach toward understanding normal processes of human biology and disease
processes. Informatics awards support career development of scientists engaged
in research that significantly integrates state-of-the-art information
technology developed with advanced biological, chemical, and pharmacological
sciences.
Pharmaceutics
-
This award provides stipend support to well-trained PhD graduates or PhD
candidates seeking to further develop and refine their pharmaceutics research
skills through formal postdoctoral training.
Pharmacology/Toxicology
- This award provides stipend support for individuals engaged in a
multidisciplinary research training program that will create or extend their
credentials and provide new skills in pharmacology or
toxicology.
Eligibility:
Applicants
must have a firm commitment from a sponsor/mentor at an accredited U.S.
university. The sponsor/mentor of the post doctoral
program must describe how the multidisciplinary goals of the research training
program will be accomplished, and provide assurance that key collaborating
mentors endorse and are willing to support the training plan. Applicants must 1)
hold a PhD in a field of study logically or functionally related to the proposed
post doctoral activities or 2) expect to receive the
PhD before activating the award. All applicants must be U.S. citizens or
permanent residents.
