FUNDING-Limited Submission – The Pew Charitable Trusts - Robert Wood Johnson Foundation - Health Impact Project: Advancing Smarter Policies for Healthier Communities; August 8, 2017

 

Purpose: The Health Impact Project, a collaboration of The Pew Charitable Trusts and the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, focuses on addressing the social and economic factors that contribute to health, including education, employment, family and social support, and community safety. These factors can be affected by decisions in a range of sectors such as housing, transportation, criminal justice, community development, and others This call will support grants for health impact assessments that address health in one or more specific counties location in 14 states, including Kentucky. (Please see Appendix A: Places of Interest.) Applicants may conduct an HIA on decisions at the local, regional, or state level. Successful projects will use an HIA to inform decisions made outside of the traditional health and health care sectors.

 

Funding Amount: $100,000 for up to 2 years
