(FOA)-Limited Submission - USDA/FNS - Women, Infants and Children (WIC) Breastfeeding Support Campaign (USDA-FNS-WIC-WBSC-19); July 9, 2019

 

Purpose:

In this WIC Breastfeeding Support Campaign opportunity, the USDA anticipates awarding up to $5 million as a cooperative agreement to provide technical support for the implementation and evaluation of the updated USDA National Breastfeeding Promotion Campaign WIC Breastfeeding Support, Learn Together. Grow Together in eight WIC States Agencies (SAs). This project requires the Grantee to develop a proposal to create a competitive opportunity to implement and evaluate the Breastfeeding Campaign in no more than eight WIC State Agencies, which must include at least one Indian Tribal Organization. The Grantee shall carry out the sub-award competition to select these SAs where the campaign will be implemented. The overarching goal of the updated Campaign is to increase the knowledge of and to promote behavior change about breastfeeding among WIC staff and participants.

 

Funding Amount/Project Period: Up to$5,000,000 for 30 months
