Funding-US-Israel Binational Ag Res & Dev-Postdoc and Grad Students Fellowship Programs; Jan. 15, 2009

 

Postdoctoral Fellowship:

The objective of the program is to promote cooperative agricultural research between postdoc fellows from one country (the United States or Israel) and established scientists from the other. Recipients will travel to the host country to carry out their research.

 

Eligibility: Citizens of the USA who have fulfilled all the requirements for a Ph.D. degree in the USA and citizens of Israel, who have fulfilled all the requirements for a Ph.D. degree in Israel, are eligible to apply.

Graduate Student Fellowship:

The objective of the program is to enable Ph.D. students in one country (the United States or Israel) to travel to the other country in order to acquire new skills and techniques in their field of study. The exchange will promote collaboration between scientists of both countries and expose the student to the ongoing research in the other country in the area of his/her present and future research.

 

Eligibility: Ph.D. students who are citizens of either the United States or Israel and who wish to conduct research in a laboratory in the other country are eligible to apply.
